AtNetPlus, Inc., area leader in Cloud implementation for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs), today announced that their animated video, ‘No Marauding Monkeys or Alien Abductions’ has received a Communicator of Distinction award. The video created by The New Fuel, a local motion graphics firm, educates SMBs on the importance of disaster recovery.
The International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA) received over 6,000 entries from around the world for their annual competition. The program is the largest, most competitive awards program honoring the creative excellence of communications professionals.
“We are both excited and amazed by the quality of work received for the 19th Annual Communicator Awards. This year’s class of entries is a true reflection of the progressive and innovative nature of marketing and communications,” noted Linda Day, Executive Director of the International Academy of the Visual Arts. She added, “On behalf of the entire Academy I want to applaud this year’s Communicator Awards entrants and winners for their dedication to perfecting their craft as they continue to push the envelope of creativity.”
Ellen Kurr, Business Process/Communications Manager for AtNetPlus, stated, “We wanted to bring a little humor to an otherwise serious but often ignored subject. This video is one of a series of animations that remind smaller organizations why preparation is necessary in order to stay open for business should disaster strike.”
“The New Fuel, took the idea and ran with it. The videos they created are entertaining but informative. They did an exceptional job of bringing the concept to life,” she concluded.
