AtNetPlus, Inc., the area leader in predictable cost IT services, today announced that IT Specialist, Damian Huising was honored at a recent awards program sponsored by Goodwill Industries. The annual luncheon gives local employers an opportunity to recognize staff members that distinguish themselves on the job.
Five of the 42 nominees were selected for special recognition by a panel of judges from the Akron Area Society for Human Resource Management. Brenda Baum, Communications Manager at Goodwill Industries of Akron stated, “All of the candidates were well qualified for this recognition based on the information submitted by their colleagues. It’s good to know that employers recognize and appreciate good work and would take this opportunity to publicly honor those individuals. Goodwill’s mission is to help individuals prepare for, find, and retain employment. We are happy to help celebrate the outstanding work these dedicated people do every day.”
AtNetPlus Partner Jay Mellon commented, “We nominated Damian for the ‘Employee of Distinction’ Award because he has shown great attitude, work ethic, and knowledge on the job. This award was a perfect opportunity for us to show our appreciation to Damian for all of his hard work. As a small business, we don’t have the same resources as larger corporations to publicly acknowledge how much we value our employees. This was the perfect forum in which to spotlight an exemplary employee.”
